Rome
As a mum I learned a lot too, even though it wasn’t my first time in Rome
We took the sightseeing quest tour with our guide Elena. We loved the easy, relaxed way she worked with the children. As a mum I learned a lot of interesting things too, even though it wasn't my first time in Rome.

Colosseum
The guide got the children interested in history through play
We booked the Colosseum tour. The guide got the children interested in history through play. Everyone enjoyed it, no problems at all.

Rome
She taught us all how to drink from a fountain properly
We really enjoyed the tour for children (a quest through ancient Rome): the material was pitched right for our six- and nine-year-olds, the pace was unhurried, and we kept stopping in the shade for each new task. Our guide Irina shared interesting facts about Rome that the children remembered easily, and she taught us all how to drink from a fountain properly. It was a lovely walk for adults and children alike. Recommended!

Rome
Our six-and-a-half-year-old was thrilled and is asking to do it again
Good day, and huge thanks to our guide Ksenia, who ran the quest through Ancient Rome. Our six-and-a-half-year-old daughter was absolutely thrilled and is already asking to do another quest. A wonderful way with children, an empathetic and very friendly atmosphere throughout, tuned to what small travellers are interested in and capable of.

Rome
We stayed engaged for all two and a half hours
We really enjoyed it. Everything was thought through: our guide Ksenia had props ready and interesting tasks for our child. We stayed engaged for all two and a half hours. Recommended. Many thanks to the organisers.

Vatican
Even the queue flew by, because we were learning new things
We visited St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican with the children on 25 April 2026, and it went wonderfully — the children were delighted. Our guide Ksenia held their attention for all three hours, and even the queue flew by, because we were learning new things the whole time.

Masterclass
More like a game where you actually explore and work things out yourself
We tried the LooksArt Discover Rome adventure and honestly, it was such fun and a different kind of experience. It was nothing like a typical tour — more like a game where you actually explore and work things out yourself. It kept us engaged the whole time, and even the children weren't bored (which says a lot). I especially liked the little gelato reward at the end: such a simple idea, but it really makes the experience more exciting and memorable. The storytelling was great too, especially Archiebot! The one small thing I'd mention is that the volume balance between Archiebot and Una sometimes felt a little off — Archiebot was slightly louder. Not a big deal, but it could be improved. Overall I'd strongly recommend it if you want something interactive and different in Rome, especially with family. I did it with my two sons and the older one loved it.

Rome
The children didn’t just answer questions, they asked their own
The tour was very interesting. The children were drawn into the process. They didn't just answer questions and complete tasks, they actively asked their own.

Rome
From the first minute Elena shared her positive energy with us
We had a wonderful tour with Elena. From the very first minute she was fully involved and shared her positive energy with us. The children were drawn into the game straight away. It was interesting for adults and children alike. Elena also gave us restaurant recommendations. We're very glad we got such a great guide.

Vatican
It made the visit fun, interactive and memorable
We had a wonderful experience on this children's quest through the Vatican Museums with Elena. My daughter is only seven, and I chose this tour specially for her (I've been to the Vatican many times myself). It absolutely achieved what I hoped for. Elena did a remarkable job of adapting the experience to a child's perspective — she shared engaging details in a form that was easy to follow, and kept my daughter curious and involved throughout. It made the visit fun, interactive and memorable for her. I highly recommend this tour to families visiting the Vatican Museums.

Vatican
Engaging, professional, a pleasure
A wonderful, professionally run company with a great range of client-friendly payment options (a real rarity in Italy), a high-quality original tour programme, and a guide with a background in cultural studies who works in the Vatican and gave us a wealth of interesting information about Rome. Engaging, professional, a pleasure. We recommend it to everyone.

Vatican
The quest format is more interesting than an ordinary tour
I spent a long time choosing tours for the children and settled on this company, because the quest format is more interesting than an ordinary tour. We did the Formula Italy quest and the Vatican quest with different guides, and both were great. The history was told in a really interesting and accessible way, with little gifts at the end. All in all it went brilliantly. Thank you!
-
Venice
All five children remembered the city through play
We are absolutely delighted with the quest! All five children stayed engaged the whole time and remembered the city through play. Our host Tatiana passed her love of Venice on to all of us along with the warmest feelings. Thank you so much! It felt as though we were truly expected here and truly welcome.

Rome
It even won over a teenager. In Rome, only with Ksenia
The Angels and Demons quest tour with Ksenia turned out vivid and easy-going, and it even won over a teenager. In Rome, only with Ksenia!

Colosseum
Tonnes of history packaged for children as a fun game
We did the Colosseum quest tour with Irina and it was fantastic. Not only the children (who usually can't stand tours) genuinely enjoyed it, but my husband and I did too. Tonnes of historical information packaged for children as a fun game and quiz. Excellent! Special mention to our guide Irina.

Rome
Our daughter took part in the quest with real pleasure

Rome
Every story felt alive, as if we’d looked into the past through an open window
A remarkable combination of professionalism, lightness and deep knowledge of the place. Every story felt alive and interesting, as if we'd looked into the past through an open window. Our guide sensed our pace, never overloaded us, answered any question, and simply created an atmosphere in which travelling is a real pleasure. We're very grateful for this day.

Rome
The children were engaged one hundred per cent
Huge thanks to the wonderful Irina for our unforgettable evening. The Time Travel two-hour tour was fascinating. Irina has answers to every question, from adults and children alike, and she is smiling and warm — she drew the whole family into the story straight away. The walk alternated with short stops and interesting tasks. The children were engaged one hundred per cent and learned a great deal about the city's history. Many thanks to WOWItaly for this exciting adventure and for such a wonderful Irina.
-
Rome
There was no overload, physical or informational
Many thanks to our guide Irina, a very pleasant person, and the tour was perfectly adapted for a seven-year-old. There was no overload, physical or informational. It was a hot day, but the routes were planned with great stops and hands-on moments. Information delivered in an interesting way. Our child clearly retained a huge amount through that playful format.
-
Rome
Two hours flew by completely unnoticed
We went with the children (girls of 7 and 11) on the Time Travel quest tour of Rome, and two hours flew by completely unnoticed. Our guide Irina is simply a magician. She skilfully combined interesting facts about Rome with riddles, puzzles and small tasks. The tour is adapted to how children take things in: no dull lectures, only interaction, games and living stories. Thank you very much!
-
Florence
The tour went by in one breath
The tour went by in one breath. Thank you to Alexandra for the informative content and the friendly atmosphere. The meeting was well organised. The children were delighted too.

Rome
After the tour the children confidently retold what they had heard
The children's quest was superb. Irina engaged the children (aged 8, 12 and 14) one hundred per cent. Our aim was to show Rome to the children, and it worked completely. After the tour they confidently retold everything they had heard and seen. We can recommend it without hesitation. What's more, Irina is also an archaeologist, which for a city like Rome is invaluable in a storyteller. Thank you!

Rome
Our youngest is four and he took part in everything too
We did the quest with Ksenia. I had read the reviews and really wanted to get to her with my children, and it happened. Fantastic rapport! Children and adults alike were delighted. Our youngest is four and he took part in everything too. Our daughter is 12 and she loved the way things were presented: so easy and simple, and above all clear, accessible and grown-up. Ksenia, you're brilliant!

Rome
She told it well and clearly knows her subject

Rome
Our daughter still comes out with things she learned on the tour
Huge thanks to our guide Ksenia for the quest tour. We loved it. Our daughter still comes out with things she learned on the tour from time to time. The material was presented in an engaging way, the historical detail was never tiring and stayed in the memory easily, and the guide's warmth and encyclopaedic knowledge, delivered as a game, left us with lovely memories. Thank you, it was easy and interesting.
-
Rome
Despite the jet lag nobody got tired
We walked around Rome with Ksenia. Everyone loved it! Interesting, informative, and despite the jet lag nobody got tired. We also got nice prizes at the end of our tour. Afterwards Ksenia sent us plenty of useful links with places for exploring Rome on our own. Thank you!
-
Rome
We learned so much that was new — even me, and I’ve been to Rome many times
A wonderful tour! Very interesting, intriguing, the children were delighted. The adults enjoyed it too. It all went so easily that we didn't notice the time passing. Our guide Elena is superb. We learned so much that was new — even me, and I've been to Rome many times. Highly recommended with children of any age.
-
Colosseum
Both tours left unforgettable impressions
There were two couples of us. We did two different tours with different WOWItaly guides: one outside Rome to Villa d'Este, and a second quest tour of the Colosseum. We enjoyed both and they left unforgettable impressions. The organisation was convenient and straightforward too.
-
Rome
She teaches you to spot the traces of antiquity in Rome
Our wonderful guide Sofia showed us Rome in all its variety. Walking the streets with her, you learn to spot the traces of antiquity in the city. It's impossible not to want to come back to Rome again and again.

Rome
At the end the children got little gifts, which delighted them

Rome
If I could give it a 6, I would
A great experience, our guide Ira was beyond praise. Even our child enjoyed it, and she usually doesn't take well to tours. If I could give it a 6, I would.

Romantic quest
I think I was even happier than my friend
Thank you so much! Thanks to WOWItaly I was able to give my friend an unforgettable, brilliant birthday present. They responded to my request immediately, helped me find the perfect gift matching every parameter I asked for (a handsome Italian saxophonist), and stayed with me until the service was complete. And the saxophonist himself was simply fantastic! He played like a god, carried all his equipment up to the viewpoint, and was hugely charismatic. I think I was even happier than my friend. Everything was precise and exactly as I wanted.
-
Colosseum
One of the best guides for children I have ever met
Tatiana is one of the best guides for children I have ever met. My children were absolutely delighted with her as a guide in Rome.

Telling children about ancient history isn’t easy, but it worked wonderfully
The Rome quest tour for children with our guide Irina, an archaeologist. Telling children about ruins and ancient history is not the easiest task, but it worked wonderfully. It was really great!

Rome
Not just a tour — an adventure that brings history to life
Thanks to Irina our recent family trip to Rome became an unforgettable adventure, especially for our children aged 8 and 10. The tour was perfectly tailored to keep both children and adults occupied, and history came alive in the most captivating way. From the very start our guide caught the children's attention with gripping stories about Ancient Rome, gladiators and emperors. Irina's interactive approach, full of fun facts, questions and even small challenges, kept them curious and eager to learn. We strongly recommend WOWItaly tours to any family visiting Rome. It isn't just a tour, it's an adventure that brings history to life for children and adults alike.

Rome
The souvenirs at the end were a lovely surprise
We did the Rome quest with children of 15 and 9. For all two hours the children were drawn into the story; the material was beautifully presented and Elena explained everything in accessible language. While completing tasks there was a chance to sit in the shade and take a breather. The souvenirs at the end were a lovely surprise. Thank you very much!
-
Rome
The children did the quest tasks while resting in the shade
The tour was simply superb! It was interesting for every member of the family. Olga told us a great deal that my husband and I hadn't known before, and the children happily worked through the quest tasks, resting in the shade as we moved around the city. We sincerely recommend this tour to everyone.

Colosseum
She won over a teenager who had arrived in a mood of protest
We decided to spend our holiday usefully and booked a quest through Rome that included a walk around the Colosseum and the Roman forums. Our guide Olga managed to win over our ten-year-old, who had arrived in a mood of protest, as ten-year-olds do. It was interesting and absorbing for the adults too. We learned about the rise of the Roman Empire, the Colosseum and how Rome was administered.
-
Rome
At the end the children received real prizes
Many thanks to our guide Irina! She was so attentive to the children that they were drawn right into the story of Rome — it was fascinating and instructive. Irina didn't just talk, she then tested what the children had learned in the form of a game. And at the end the children received real prizes. We were absolutely delighted. Thank you very much!

Rome
We had coffee in what was once Canova’s workshop
We met Olya and set off on an art walk through the centre of Rome almost straight off the plane. To say we enjoyed it is to say nothing. We went into churches where acknowledged masterpieces of painting and sculpture stand in the setting they were made for, walked artistic streets hidden from the tourist crowds, and had coffee in what was once Canova's workshop. Olya led us along the route masterfully and drew us gradually into the atmosphere of the city. Three hours flew by in an instant. A wonderful idea for a more intimate acquaintance with the city you've dreamed about for so long.
-
Vatican
Concise, comfortable and skipping all the queues
We really enjoyed the quest tour of the Vatican for our family with two teenagers. Very concise, comfortable and accessible, skipping all the queues. We were shown all the treasures of the Vatican and told its secrets. The children and we loved it.

Rome
He set off grumbling, but after the first task he started listening with interest
We were passing through Rome for the first time and decided to book an introductory tour for children. Not only our child enjoyed it, but we did too. Our guide Olga Lomova got our child genuinely interested. He set off for the tour grumbling, but after the first task he started listening with interest and asking whether there would be more like it. Olga is a great professional and a former teacher, and you can feel it in her composure. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. When we come to Rome again we'll come to you, one hundred per cent.
-
Rome

Romantic quest
The high point was my marriage proposal
I recently decided to book the Romantic Quest in Rome, and it turned out to be a wonderful decision. The route was captivating and ran through the most beautiful parts of the city. The high point was my marriage proposal to my beloved Yana, and she was overwhelmed by everything that happened. Huge thanks to Ksenia for her help and support in organising it. Her professionalism and care made our day truly unforgettable. I recommend this quest to anyone dreaming of a romantic adventure.

Rome
Only fascinating facts, undiscovered places and secrets
We had an amazing Secrets of Rome quest tour with Ksenia, planned as a surprise gift for two people in our group celebrating birthdays. Without doubt the best idea for a present for friends, and an unforgettable experience. A fascinating, lively tour with no overload and no unnecessary information. Only fascinating facts, undiscovered places and secrets you'd never read about or work out yourself. Ksenia is very pleasant, gracious and easy to talk to; she presented everything with intelligence and answered our questions. During the tour we had tasks, riddles, surprises and lovely unexpected gifts. The walk lasted more than three hours, but the time flew by completely and we didn't want it to end. We recommend this tour wholeheartedly! And at the end they gave us plenty of recommendations for places worth visiting, routes, restaurants and the best gelato in Rome. Enormous thanks to the whole organising team, in particular Tatiana, Ksenia and Irina. Thank you, it was brilliant!

It goes by in one breath and immerses adults and children alike
An engaging tour with interaction, interesting switches of pace and quizzes. An excellent, well-planned product in quest form. It goes by quickly, in one breath, and at the same time gives good immersion to adults and children alike. Our two teenagers were delighted. Huge thanks to Olga, who opened Rome up for us in an engaging, entirely un-tedious journey. We'll gladly come back for other WOWItaly quests.

Plenty of humour, history and interesting facts. In one breath

Rome
She never gets irritated by children’s questions, and that’s what charms them
A great idea, the children really go for it. They clearly enjoy the dynamic delivery, and Ksenia is young and engaging — she never gets irritated by children's questions or whims, and that's exactly what charms them. Interesting places; I discovered new spots myself. It's great that the quest is adapted to what children are interested in, which is valuable and welcome.
-
Rome
We wanted to carry on the tour and walk some more
Hello, we'd like to share the most positive impression of the quest tour: dynamic, informative, fun and engaging. Svetlana has an excellent command of the material and connects with children (ours are nearly 9 and 13). The time flew by, we wanted to carry on the tour and walk some more, and both our sons were delighted. Next time we'll definitely do the second quest. Huge thanks to Svetlana for her lightness and elegant storytelling!
-

Colosseum
Not tiring at all, even in the fierce heat
We had two wonderful quests: ancient Rome with Ksenia and the Colosseum with Maria. It was very interesting and not tiring at all, even in the fierce heat. The children keep remembering those lovely tours! Highly recommended!
-
Colosseum
Two days later the children still quote: Ksenia said this, Ksenia said that
Our guide Ksenia ran an excellent quest tour for us. Ksenia knows how to get children interested — two days later they still come out with "Ksenia said this, Ksenia said that". At the same time it was interesting for the adults: this wasn't a children's activity where we parents would be yawning. It was a full tour for us grown-ups, while our children were busy with something interesting and didn't whine. We did the general sightseeing quest of Rome (the Colosseum and on to the Pantheon, with all the stops). Next visit we'll do the Villa Borghese quest with Ksenia. The organisation was very good — communication before and during, and every request to drink, use a toilet, rest or have an ice cream. Ksenia skilfully alternated walking in the heat with sitting in an authentic courtyard solving riddles about Rome, find this, find that; the children were engaged, then resting in the shade, drinking from a fountain and so on. After the tour Ksenia kindly sent me, at my request, restaurant recommendations for the area, plus excellent, full and clear recommendations of interesting places for children — unexpected and very welcome. Frankly, you could sell advice like that. In short, thank you. Highly recommended.

The children tell all their friends about Ancient Rome
Some time has passed since we came home, but the children and I still remember the quest we did with you. Astonishing! You simply couldn't have thought of anything better. The children remember everything and tell all their friends about Ancient Rome and the wonderful quest they did with Ksenia.

Florence
My husband and I are in love with you and with Italy
It was our first time in Italy and we were very worried something would go wrong. On a friend's recommendation we turned to Tatiana to organise our stay, and it was absolutely the right decision. Tatiana not only advised which tours to take, where to go and what to see, but also arranged all our transfers. We didn't have to worry about a thing. We booked classic Rome with the wonderful guide Olga, who is delightful. Our Vatican guide Irina astonished us with her energy and knowledge — such a marvellous person. After that we also visited Venice and Florence. Our guide Natalia in Florence was the cherry on the cake: she showed us the most beautiful and historic places in Florence and beyond. We visited Tuscan villages and a very beautiful winery, tasted wine and ate delicious snacks. It was something else. I highly recommend this company; my husband and I are very happy and will certainly recommend them to everyone. Thank you for your superb work — we're in love with you and with Italy!

The quests are made with real professionalism and love
We did two quests with our almost-seven-year-old son. An astonishingly rich, fun, varied and interesting programme. Our guide (we had Ksenia) has an excellent command of the material; we enjoyed it enormously and next time it will be them and no one else. Interesting tasks, small souvenirs, and information that isn't only architectural and historical but also about present-day life. The quests are made with real professionalism and love. Interesting for children and adults alike. Recommended!

Very informative, plenty of detail, interesting tasks. A friendly guide, Ksenia. The children found it interesting.

Two hours flew by unnoticed
Thank you to Elena for time well and usefully spent. The children found it interesting, informative and fun. We revisited the history of Rome and heard a heap of interesting and unusual facts. Two hours flew by unnoticed. I recommend this tour format, we really enjoyed it. THANK YOU!

We had an 18-month-old with us and it all went easily and smoothly
This isn't my first time with these people. This time we took the sightseeing tour of Rome. Given that we had an 18-month-old with us, it all went easily and smoothly. Ksyusha adapted to our daughter's needs and organised the fullest, easiest walk around Rome for us. Many thanks! They also gave us a thousand recommendations of places to visit and answered every question. I recommend them 150 per cent!

The parents got engaged and contented children
Keeping children entertained is always a quest for the parents. In Rome we entrusted it to our guide Ksenia. We had read the reviews and expected an interesting tour for the children, but the result exceeded all our expectations. First, several days before we met, Ksenia found out the children's ages, hobbies and interests. Then on the quest the children were met with an immersive walk complete with genuine explorer's artefacts: maps, tasks, tests. Ksenia drew the children in gently and brought their attention back. There were interim achievements and prizes, chances to rest and to discuss something together on the theme of the quest. Ksenia was attentive to each of us. At the end the children received archaeology-themed gifts, and the parents got engaged and contented children. Ksenia came technically prepared, with a speaker so that the educational videos on the tablet were easier to follow. I highly recommend Ksenia!

We simply forgot about the time we had booked
We had a tour for a bilingual couple, and the visit was so interesting that we simply forgot about the time we had booked. So you'll need at least three hours for this tour, definitely.

We solved all the riddles and got a gift at the end
We had a very interesting tour of Rome today with WOWItaly. Our guide Marina managed to get our daughter interested. We walked round all the main sights in Rome, heard about the history of Rome in an engaging, playful way, solved all the riddles, and got a gift at the end. All in all, recommended.

With humour, articulate speech and well-judged stops. All to the point
We really liked our guide Elena! She tells things incredibly well. With humour, articulate speech and well-judged stops. All to the point. 5/5. Thank you!

We visited places we would hardly have found on our own
We did the Journey through Ancient Rome tour as a birthday present for our daughter, who turned seven. It proved a very good idea, because in a playful form children remember things and history very well, and she found it interesting. Well judged for length and informative. We visited places we would hardly have found on our own. Our guide Svetlana is very welcoming and pleasant and knows how to engage children, telling history in words a child understands. I recommend it to curious children and parents, because as an adult I didn't want to miss anything either. There were tasks and searches on the map — very interesting.

It wasn’t an easy task — engage the children and see something herself
I wanted to thank the company, in the persons of Tatiana and our guide Alexey, for their excellent work. It was a pleasure to deal with them and I will certainly recommend them to everyone. I booked a tour for a friend's birthday. Since she was in Italy with three children and had dreamed of the Vatican, it wasn't an easy task — engage the children and see something herself. Our guide Alexey handled everything brilliantly, and the manager Tatiana was very attentive to my requests and got everything done quickly and without delays.

All the guides led their tours with heart
Huge thanks to Elena, Svetlana and Alexey! All the guides led their tours with heart, were very attentive to us, answered every question, knew their subject excellently, told us many little-known details and nuances, and found common ground with our teenager. We were all very happy and enjoyed it enormously. You have a great team!

Masterclass
At the end they put the ice cream we’d made out for sale
We booked two tours; on the organisational side Tatiana was always in touch and helped with buying Colosseum tickets in good time. Everything was very well planned. Gelato-making masterclass (Ksenia): a great class, Ksenia translated brilliantly and involved our child. We especially liked that at the end they put the ice cream we'd made out for sale. It was fascinating. The Emperor's Curse quest (Elena): Elena told everything in a very interesting way and involved our child in exploring the Colosseum. Along the way she still managed to tell the adults a thing or two. It was very interesting and informative.

Three hours that went by in one breath
A wonderful tour of ancient Rome with Ksenia — beautifully adapted for children and adults, three hours that went by in one breath and left us keen to do it again on our next visit to Rome. Huge thanks to WOWItaly.

Colosseum
Our child was delighted too
We travelled with friends and booked the Rome quest tour and the Colosseum. We loved everything. Elena and Svetlana are wonderful guides and told everything so engagingly. My friends and I loved it, and our child was delighted too. THANK YOU.

She took us to secret corners we hadn’t even guessed at
Unforgettable impressions from the tour! The time went so quickly. Ksenia took us round all the interesting places in Rome and to secret corners we hadn't even guessed at. My friends and I enjoyed it enormously. We'll definitely come back!

The children were 5, 8 and 11 — all of them were delighted
Thank you to Ksenia for the quest tour for children! The tour was simply wonderful. Very interesting! Mum enjoyed it too, not just the children. Although the children were different ages — 5, 8 and 11 — all of them were delighted.

Florence
Deep knowledge of the subject, the place, daily life and the client’s mind
We holidayed in Rome, the Vatican and Florence in early May and used WOWItaly guides. Superbly professional and warmly human! Yulia for the Rome overview, Alexey for the Vatican quest, Elena for the tour of St Peter's Basilica. ASTONISHING. Deep knowledge of the subject, the place, daily life and the client's mind. Alexey's children's quest is a very informative tour for adults, and a joy for children. Elena in the Vatican was something incredible: detailed, interesting, and very believable — even if it is a fairy tale, of course. RECOMMENDED! Andrey and Irina.

You simply won’t have time to be bored
This really is WOW! If you want something unforgettable and interesting, Marina and her team will absolutely make it happen. The Jumanji quest with Elena is an unconventional way of presenting information, with humour — you simply won't have time to be bored. Everything is so interesting and so alive that no audio guide or handbook would give you as much. And if you have any idea for celebrating a birthday or any other occasion, WOWItaly will realise whatever you dream up: wine tasting, balloons in the sky, live music — everything you need for the perfect celebration.

An excellent team of true professionals! They helped organise our entry into Italy, transfers and superb tours. I hope we'll turn to them again more than once.

Despite the pouring rain he stayed involved for over three hours
Our nine-year-old son listened with interest to historical facts presented in an entertaining form and worked diligently through the tasks. Despite the pouring rain he stayed active and involved for over three hours. Our guide Ksenia found the right approach to the boy without any effort. He didn't merely enjoy the tour — he was able to remember and retell the material afterwards.

Romantic quest
My husband said it was the best present anyone could imagine
I loved not only the quest itself but the attitude of the guide and the agent who helped prepare the gift. They created the most pleasant, romantic atmosphere. Before the quest I got a very clear explanation of how it would go, and they advised the best time — I wanted the morning, but on their advice we made it 4 p.m. when the heat had eased, and at the end we caught an incredible sunset. The guide took photos and video for us and they came out brilliantly. The quest itself is very interesting; I liked that we walked around Rome on our own with a tablet giving us clues, because at first I'd thought a guide would walk with us. That way it turned out more romantic. We got to places we would never have seen walking by ourselves. You learn genuinely informative stories about Rome and a lot of interesting, never tedious facts. My husband said it was the best present anyone could imagine. I'm very happy! Thank you! We went in August 2021. Anna and Maxim.

The children remembered practically everything down to the details
We set off for Rome as a family with boys of 6 and 9 for the first time and rather spontaneously. We had no time to plan a trip with children carefully. As soon as I got a reply to my enquiry from WOWItaly I felt enormous relief: from the very first messages it was clear that these people do their work with heart. My instinct didn't let me down. The Time Travel sightseeing quest with Ksenia was interesting not only for the children but for the adults. Ksenia is a very pleasant and engaging person. On the second day we did the Renaissance art quest, Da Vinci Cipher, with Svetlana. The quest is built so well, so clearly and so engagingly that the children remembered practically all of it down to the details. The next day, in the Vatican Museums, our six-year-old found on his own, among the many halls, the fresco that had featured in the quest the day before and was overjoyed; the brothers discussed the differences between Raphael's and Michelangelo's styles and playfully hunted for symbols of the Holy Spirit. Huge thanks to Ksenia and Svetlana for unforgettable impressions and professionalism!

Masterclass
Rome with small children? Yes, it is possible
Huge thanks to the WOWItaly team, to Marina and Ksenia, for organising tours in Rome and a masterclass in making pasta and tiramisu. It was our first trip to Rome and we had two children with us, aged 3 and 8, and we very much wanted it to be interesting for adults and children alike. Ksenia managed that perfectly and won our children's hearts. The quest-format tours (History of Ancient Rome and Formula 1) present the history of the ancient city playfully, easily and accessibly for everyone. In two days we visited all the main tourist sites and learned a lot that was new and interesting. And small gifts for the children at the end of the tours were a lovely surprise. Rome with small children? Yes, it is possible with WOWItaly!

Venice
It became the biggest memory of a seven-day trip around Italy
On 1 March 2020 I booked a quest on the website as a present for my daughter. The tour was led by Ksenia, who is now our favourite guide in Italy. We'll definitely come again (once the world calms down about the coronavirus) and book more tours with her. The Ancient Rome quest tour was so informative and so effortless, thanks to Ksenia, that it became the biggest memory of a seven-day trip around Italy. Three hours flew by. We learned many interesting and unusual facts about the life of this ancient city. Ksenia holds the attention of children and adults professionally and easily. Our family wishes Ksenia every success in growing this business, and expanding the map (we'd love a tour like this in Venice, or Naples). With respect, the Polishchuk family, Krasnoyarsk.

Rome
We rediscovered the city’s iconic places for ourselves
First of all, I recommend WOWItaly for private and family tours, including with children. Everything in the quest is thought through so well. I adore Rome, the eternal city, a hymn to beauty in all its forms. Although we've been here countless times, my husband and I bought a quest from WOWItaly on friends' advice, and we didn't regret it: we rediscovered the city's iconic places for ourselves, sometimes from a completely unexpected angle, and learned a lot that was new. The quest is thought out down to the smallest detail and built with intrigue, respect and love for Roman history and its points of contact with Russian culture and history. Special thanks to our guide Lidia — a comfortable, warm person who loves her work.

Of all the tours that followed, this is the one the children remembered
I'd like to thank Ksenia for a beautifully organised sightseeing tour of Rome for children. Having heard many good things about the quest tour, we (mothers from the Russian school in Asti, Piedmont) decided to spend a few days in Rome and start introducing our children to ancient Rome with this very tour. We weren't wrong. Ksenia draws children wonderfully into learning and playing at the same time. Of all the tours that followed, this is the one our children remembered. Thank you again!

It turned out our guide and I were from the same home town, and we met in Rome
Thank you for the family quest tour on the history of Ancient Rome! Thanks to our guide Ksenia, the children and I saw and learned a great deal. We met her at the Pigna fountain, walked through Piazza Venezia at the foot of the Capitol near the Roman Forum, strolled to the Turtle Fountain and the café on Piazza Mattei that Joseph Brodsky liked to visit. We visited Trajan's Forum, the last of Rome's imperial forums, today a place where Italians bring stray cats and jokingly call it the cat sanatorium. We looked at the unusual decoration on the wall of the city archive, the Fountain of Books, and reached the Pantheon, where we summed up our quest. And there it turned out that Ksenia and I are from the same home town — we were born and lived for many years in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, on the other side of the world — and we happened to meet in the Eternal City!

Three and a half hours in one breath
Thank you for a wonderful quest. WOWItaly, as always, at their best. Interesting, informative and precisely organised. Two adults and a child (aged 8) did the quest — three and a half hours in one breath. Our child managed the tasks by himself and together we all absorbed the informative facts. The information is delivered interestingly and never tiringly. Special thanks to our guide Ksenia, a true professional. This is our fourth tour with Ksenia, and she is the only one who can engage our daughter like that.

We’ve been to Rome before, but reached some corners for the first time
A tour combined with elements of a quest game, led by Ksenia for a family with three girls aged 8 to 15. The children were absolutely delighted — with the route, with the way the material was presented, and with Ksenia's gifts. The adults enjoyed it very much too: we've been to Rome more than once, but thanks to Ksenia we reached some of its corners for the first time. Three hours flew by. Highly recommended!

Rome
No overload of historical facts, but plenty of surprises
A wonderful quest for children of 8 and 15, led by Ksenia on 17 August 2019. The result showed it was the right decision to choose this format, one that adults find interesting too. Brilliant! No overload of historical facts, with demonstration materials, engaging props and surprises. The children wanted to repeat the experience. After the tour we received a wealth of useful information from Ksenia on how to spend time with children in Rome. Top marks for professionalism from our family.

Rome
Here the child is an active participant, not a passive one
An interesting alternative to an ordinary sightseeing tour, where the child is an active participant rather than a passive one. Our boy (aged 9) is hard to hold for long (and the quest tour runs more than three hours), but he was interested. And the adults aren't left out either, taking an active part in the process. Our agent-guide Ksenia ran the mission excellently, giving a great deal of interesting and useful information both on the quest's theme and beyond it, for which many thanks to her!

If children studied history like this, they’d ace their exams
I very rarely leave reviews, but after the Time Travel quest in Rome I'm doing it with pleasure. For more than three hours our son Misha (aged 6) was absorbed in an interesting, informative and interactive quest. Huge thanks to Marina, our agent! If our children studied history in this format, I'm sure they'd ace their exams.

He explained how to tell when the dough is the right consistency
A great way to spend time on any day, but especially a rainy one. A very cosy, beautiful restaurant and friendly staff. The masterclass itself was very interesting and fun. The chef is a lovely young man who explained everything clearly and, above all, interestingly, about pasta and tiramisu. He shared the fine points: how to tell when the dough is the right consistency, or when the yolks and whites are ready for tiramisu. All in all I recommend it, I loved my masterclass.

On the train he repeated the tasks to us so we could answer
The quest tour was excellent! Our child was delighted and so were we. On the train he repeated the tasks to us so that we could answer them. Ksenia (agent Ksyu) is a pro and told everything so interestingly. She's wonderful! Thank you so much! Next time we'll come for the Vatican tour and will be glad to book with WOWItaly.

Our daughter listened with great interest, and so did we
We booked the tour a week ahead and paid a deposit. Our guide Ksenia arrived without any delay and did her job one hundred per cent. Our five-year-old daughter listened with great interest, and we adults found it fascinating too. Ksenia answered all our questions and suggested what else in Rome can be visited with a child.

Rome
Later our daughter organised a quest for her grandmother’s birthday herself
The main thing I hoped for from this quest was that my seven-year-old daughter would connect with Rome and become interested in it. That worked. And although for our own reasons the tour had to be moved to the very eve of our departure, by which point we'd already walked a lot of the city, we made sure the route was a new one. Everything went wonderfully; a quest for children is an excellent idea, interestingly executed, and Ksenia is a lovely guide. A couple of weeks after we got home, our daughter organised a quest for her grandmother's birthday, with riddles, traps and tests — and I know exactly where she got the inspiration. Thank you!

Rome
The best way to get to know a city, its culture and its history
A wonderful idea and excellent execution! My only regret is that I didn't show my children other cities in this format earlier. Thank you to Ksenia and everyone who took part in preparing and organising it — this is the best way to get to know a city, its culture and its history.

Three hours went by in one breath
A wonderful tour. The children were absolutely delighted. A new, unusual format. Plenty of interesting riddles. Everyone is drawn into the process. Three hours went by in one breath. For our first time we chose the accompanied option and didn't regret it for a moment. Ksenia is a very interesting storyteller.

Masterclass
It was very homely and absorbing
On New Year's Eve it was a real pleasure to take a masterclass in making pasta. Chef Davide talked and demonstrated how pasta is made in an interesting, colourful and professional way. He gave everyone attention. It was very homely and absorbing. Everything worked out for us and we ate what we had made with pleasure. We plan to repeat it in Moscow — as soon as we find fresh eggs. I'd also like to thank our interpreter Ksenia for her help, care and involvement.

Solving the riddles, you soak up the atmosphere and the breath of Rome
A beautifully organised, very interesting and informative quest. There were two adults and two teenagers of 10 and 14. We all had an engaging time, and were even a little tired by the end. Many thanks to the organiser Marina for her patience and thorough preparation. I recommend it to everyone! Solving the riddles, you soak up the atmosphere and the breath of Rome.

In four hours the children weren’t tired and were ready to carry on
Huge thanks to the company, and especially to Svetlana, for the engaging quest organised for our children (11 and 8). It was an incredible adventure: in four hours the children weren't tired at all and were ready to carry on. During the quest they learned many historical facts that even we hadn't heard before. The children were full of impressions! Svetlana is a super guide. Huge thanks to her and warm greetings from our girls!

Our son usually can’t manage long tours — this time three hours in one breath
I want to thank our guide Ksenia for a wonderful tour. The content, the route, the format — everything perfectly chosen! Three hours went by in one breath, and that's given that our son usually can't manage long tour programmes. Thank you so much! Our warmest recommendations for Ksenia! We'll certainly return to the eternal city.

Pouring rain and strong wind — and yet it all went superbly
Good day! Huge thanks to Ksenia for an incredibly interesting quest, for her patience, care and understanding. My children (6 and 10) and I travel quite a lot, and I try to organise a quest in every country, because that way you can combine useful information and play quite naturally. Beyond the quest itself being rich and interesting, our host Ksenia turned out to be a magical fairy. The weather was dreadful: pouring rain and strong wind. And yet it all went superbly! Ksenia helped with everything, from lifting a child over a railing for a better view to resolving squabbles between the children. Thank you so much! And thank you for a sea of useful advice on organising our free time!

Back in Moscow our daughter decided to give a talk about Rome — it filled a whole lesson
Our family trip to Rome came together suddenly, but we wanted our Roman holiday to be interesting and memorable — and not to make the children suffer through classic monotonous tours. The search began, and how grateful I am to the universe that I came across the WOWItaly team. The lovely Marina and Anya helped us decide and put a programme together. And so, we were in Rome. We started with a family photo session. Svetlana suggested charming, uncrowded spots with beautiful views; looking at the photos back in Moscow makes my heart sing. We began getting to know Rome with the History of Ancient Rome quest — the whole family found it fascinating, the children happily completed the tasks, found their way on the map and got to know the great monuments. And how delighted the children were with the gifts that suddenly appeared. Svetlana ran that quest too. A few days later we went on the Non-touristy Rome tour with Ksenia. There are no words for how much beauty we saw and the scents of roses, oranges and pine we breathed in. It felt as if we'd been in a fairy tale. Three hours flew by. Ksenia told everything so interestingly. No guidebook would have led us to such wonderful places. None of the children got tired and they wanted more. On the last day the Angels and Demons quest with electronic support awaited us. There were so many interesting tasks that not only the children but the adults got caught up in it. Even a sudden downpour couldn't get in the way of the search for the Holy Grail. Everything is thought through to the smallest detail! Polina (my nine-year-old daughter) decided of her own accord, once back in Moscow, to give a talk about Rome — because the information was presented so beautifully that she wanted to share it. And her wonderful talk filled a whole lesson! It's been ten days since we came home and the Roman emotions still haven't left us. Thank you to all the magical fairies at WOWItaly for a wonderful Roman holiday!

Getting them off their phones is nearly impossible, but they managed it
We went on the tour with our 16-year-old daughter and seven-year-old son; getting them off their phones is practically impossible, but the girls managed it! We walked the whole centre of Rome on foot, learned the history of Italy, picked up the city's quirks — where to eat well, where to go, all kinds of life hacks for tourists from non-tourists, and much more. Three hours flew by in a moment. Huge thanks to Marina and Ksyusha, they're wonderful. I highly recommend it to all families, with children and without!
